STUDIO PROCEDURES & BEST PRACTICES

OUR MISSION

In September of 2017, Barre Cleveland was purchased by Cleveland Yoga LLC with an intention to uphold a supportive environment for guests and members. Every time you step through our doors, you join a community of mindful guests and inspiring fitness teachers who share your passion for positive energy, self-improvement, and overall wellbeing.
 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When purchasing any Barre Cleveland service or merchandise our customer acknowledges they have read and fully understand all studio procedures and practices.
 

NEW CLIENT OFFERS

Since Barre Cleveland is now “Powered by Cleveland Yoga” as of September 1, 2017 - all students who have not visited Barre Cleveland prior 9/1/2017 are considered NEW CLIENTS. Moving forward, if a student hasn’t been to class in 18 months and beyond, they are considered a new client.
New Client offers cannot be extended, exchanged, transferred or shared.
 

REFUND/RETURN for SERVICES

ALL SERVICE PURCHASES ARE FINAL SALE. There are no refunds.
Once a single class, class package or membership has been purchased, there are no refunds or returns.  Membership passes are non-sharable and non-transferable to other persons.  Memberships and class packages will not be extended past its expiration date.
 

MERCHANDISE EXCHANGES

We accept clothing and other merchandise for exchange within 14 calendar days from the original purchase date.  Clothing and merchandise items must be unwashed, unworn, unused, and in saleable condition to be valid for exchange.  We do not offer refunds on any used items for any merchandise.
 

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Payment in full is required for all services and products.
Barre Cleveland accepts VISA, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept American Express.
 

YOUR PRIVACY

Barre Cleveland agrees to hold your account information and data in strict confidence.
We will never rent, sell, trade or in any way share your email address with any third party.
 

ACCOUNTABILITY

Our team of staff and teachers hold ourselves accountable to show up fully and professionally for our guests and members. In turn, we hope that our guests will do the same. Outlined below is information on registration and other guidelines to enhance your workout experience. 
 

WORKOUT RESERVATION & SCHEDULING PROCEDURES

The ability to reserve a workout closes 30 minutes before the class start time (if space is available).
Guests are personally accountable for managing their scheduled workouts and their Barre Cleveland account. Clients are solely responsible for any and all use of their account; including IPhone/Android app usage.
 

ADVANCE SIGN UP is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Sign up for each workout can be completed through our website scheduler or iPhone/Android app. Our scheduling software is set to allow 23 clients to register along with 3 persons holding onto the waitlist. When the wait list becomes full, our system automatically eliminates the “sign-in’ button showing that the class is at capacity. 
 

LATE ARRIVAL

Members and guests are responsible for arriving early to their barre session (10 minutes early to check in; 20 minutes early if it is your first visit). If a client arrives within 5 minutes from the start of class, they will be permitted to enter class provided space is available. Please understand that our workouts are a progression of moves designed for your well-being. Arriving late to class can be disruptive to your fitness and to others.
 

CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW

We do not accept class cancellation calls or emails to the studio. A minimum 2-hour notice via your Barre Cleveland online account or iPhone/Android app is required for a cancellation. Missed classes and late cancels are charged as if client attended their class.  Clients holding a Membership Pass are charged $15 and clients holding class pass sessions will be charge the amount of their individual class rate.
 

WAIT LIST PROCEDURE

If a class you would like to attend is full, you can opt to place yourself on the waitlist. Our wait lists move quickly, so the earlier you get on one the better. You need to have a class credit in your account in order to waitlist a class. If the class becomes free, you will be notified via email and/or text. You will be notified automatically until 2 hours before the class is scheduled to begin. Therefore, if you no longer wish to take a class please remove your name from the wait list before the 2-hour cancellation penalty period.
 

HANDS-ON ASSISTING

On occasion, the class instructor will perform hands-on assists to clients in class. This is to provide support, show modifications, and to create a positive and healthful experience. If you are uncomfortable with this method of teaching, please let your teacher know.
 

WEATHER

We plan to stay open with our regular schedule of classes at all times. However, when the weather turns we recognize the safety of our staff and clients is paramount. A rule of thumb for our business is - if the Beachwood school system is closed, we typically would close. View our Facebook page for immediate updates on studio closings and openings. If we close at last minute due to extreme weather conditions or any other emergency, obviously your passes will not be charged.
 

AGE RESTRICTION

We believe exercise for all ages is important. Clients ages 13-17 may attend class with the legal guardian, or alone with a guardian’s written consent.
 

LOST ITEMS

Barre Cleveland is not responsible for lost or stolen items under any circumstance. Free lockers for personal belongings are provided. However, we recommend you refrain from bringing valuables to the studio. Lost/Found items will be stored at our studio for two weeks. If not claimed, they will be donated or disposed of.
